hypothetical question. if someone KNOWS you’re making an excuse and still opens the door, does that mean they’re interested or does it mean they think you’re funny in a sad little way asking for literally no one also if it WERE me, the excuse was bad. i know. don’t start. but the way they looked at me was less 'lol idiot' and more 'finally, you walked in yourself.' normal? because i am suddenly very aware of the exit and also not leaving.
