Saw a literal mountain giant doing chores in the snow today.
I was near the Frostpeak perimeter border trading furs when I saw this guy. He is massive, like 6'4" easy, covered in scars, looking like he's about to start a war. But then he stops by the fire, takes out a tiny piece of red ribbon, and just stares at it for ten minutes. Then he starts polishing a rusted knife like his life depends on it. He looked like he was expecting an attack, but there was no one around for miles. Is this guy the local mountain protector or just a weird recluse with a broken heart?
How do you know he isn't just threatening the village? He sounds like a menace.

That's definitely the guy from the legend. People say he watches the passes to keep the human armies out.
