The most terrifying commander in the Northern Reach just tried to peel a grape.
Saw this at the Citadel terrace today. The Vanguard leader was sitting there with a massive bowl of fruit, trying to peel a grape with her claws. She looked like she was defusing a bomb. When the grape got smashed, she just stared at her hand like it betrayed her. And then I heard her let out this low, frustrated growl? Someone should tell her the human nobles just use tiny knives for that.
She looked like she wanted to cry. Do you think she actually likes grapes?
Reply to CitadelWatcher: Doubt it. She probably just wants to impress someone.
She’s not trying to fit in, she’s doing it for her wife. Everyone knows she was forced into that political marriage.
Reply to NorthReachNerd: Exactly. She’s way too gentle with that stuff to be a 'beast'.
That's clearly . My cousin serves in the Vanguard Legion and says she's obsessed with trying to 'fit in' with imperial customs.
Reply to IronHeart_99: Wait, the 'Iron Demon' of the North is trying to eat snacks like a debutante?
Why is she using her claws? Just use a spoon, commander.
She’s usually at the parade grounds by 5 AM. Seeing her in the gardens is rare.
I'm just terrified of what happens if she decides she wants to bake next.
Countess Helga would have a stroke if she saw this. The 'barbarian' is learning table manners.
I saw this too! She looked ready to declare war on that fruit bowl. It's actually kind of sweet in a weird, military-grade way.
