Spotted: The Blackwell heir freezing a room in Tribeca

Saw the Blackwell kid out in Tribeca tonight. He was standing outside that tiny, nameless coffee shop—you know the one, the place that closes at 6 PM sharp? He looked like he was waiting for a ghost. Someone walked up to try and talk to him, and he just held up one hand, didn't even look away from the door. He was just undoing his cufflinks, slow, like he had all the time in the world. Then he stopped, looked at his watch, and his whole face just… dropped. He looked like he’d lost his last dollar. I’ve never seen someone with that much money look that desperate.

Wait, he goes to that shop? That place is basically a closet. I've seen him there twice this month and he never buys anything, just stands there.

Reply to TribecaLocal: Maybe he’s waiting for a delivery?

He's not waiting for a delivery. He’s waiting for an answer. You can see it in the way he stares at the door. is definitely holding out for someone he thinks promised him something.

Reply to TruthSeeker: Are you serious? He’s the most calculated person in the city.

Shark or not, he looked like he wanted to break that window. Did anyone actually go up and talk to him?

He’s probably closing a deal. Don't fall for the 'sad boy' act. He’s a shark.

I walked past him and he was checking his phone every ten seconds. It was painful to watch.

The family is trying to marry him off, right? Maybe he’s just dodging the gala season.

He looks so sad. Who makes a Blackwell look like that? They’re usually so untouchable.

That’s Adrian Blackwell. He’s usually running the show at the Avery Group, not playing tag in Tribeca.
