The most terrifyingly calm man in the city just sat at a dive bar for an hour.
Saw this guy at The Anchor tonight. He was completely out of place in a crisp white shirt and vest, just sitting there in the corner booth. He didn't order a drink. He didn't even look at his phone. He just watched the door with those piercing eyes for sixty minutes straight. When the bartender finally worked up the nerve to ask if he needed anything, he just whispered one sentence and the room went dead silent. He left right after. Who just sits in a dive bar for an hour and waits for absolutely nobody?
That's definitely him. My cousin works at the shipping port and says he’s always like that—stone cold and never misses a detail.
Reply to DocksideDaily: Who is 'him'? You talk like everyone knows the guy.
Maybe he’s just lonely? He looks pretty miserable for a guy with that much money.
Reply to JustPassingBy: Doubtful.
Creepy. Why would he even be there?
Not a thing. Left the table pristine. Like he was never there.
Did he leave anything behind? A tip? A napkin?
He's not a regular. He’s a shark. You don't see sharks hanging out in dive bars unless they're hunting.
He looks like he’s waiting for something—or someone—that he shouldn't be.
I saw him too. The bartender looked like he was about to pass out when he spoke.
