Is there a cop who just stands outside the same dorm every single night?
I walk my dog past that dorm on the Upper West Side at midnight and 4 AM, and this guy is always there in his cruiser. He just sits there in the dark, watching the entrance like it’s a crime scene. Last night, I saw him get out to check the mail pile in the lobby through the glass, then he just leaned against the wall and kept staring up at the windows. He doesn't look like he's on duty for the city. He looks like he’s waiting for something to happen inside. Does anyone know if he’s actually doing police work or just stalking someone?
If he's a cop, why isn't he responding to calls? He just stays put.
Reply to BustedLogic: Maybe he's not waiting for a call. Maybe he's waiting for someone.
Wait, I recognize him. I saw him at JFK months ago acting exactly the same way around a student who looked lost. Something feels off.
Reply to JFK_Observer: Like, obsessive off? Or just weird?
Does anyone know what he actually does in that apartment if she's even in there?
Seen him around the Bronx growing up. He was always the quiet, intense type. Not surprised he ended up like this.
This gives me the creeps. Does he even go home?
He looks so intense. Like he's literally guarding the building from the air itself. It's kinda scary but also... dedicated?
I work for the department. That’s . He’s one of the best for closure rates, but the Captain has been asking questions about his patrol logs lately.
I've seen him too! He parks in the same spot for hours. It’s definitely not a standard patrol zone.
