Who is the guy in the library wearing gold chains and acting like he owns the place?
Saw this guy at the university library again today. He took the prime carrel in the back corner, moved a bunch of books, and then just sat there staring down anyone who walked by for three hours straight. He’s wearing a black tank top and those wire-rimmed glasses—looks like he’s ready to fight a professor or start a tech company. The weirdest part? He had a second laptop open, but he wasn't typing on it. He was just looking at the screen like he was waiting for someone to dare challenge his spot. Does he think he’s in a movie or something?
Is he single or just married to his textbooks?
Reply to JustPassingBy: Married to his ego, maybe?
I saw him arguing with a grad student for like ten minutes over a citation style yesterday. He didn't even blink.
Reply to LibraryGhost: He's terrifyingly competent.
Does he ever actually relax? He looks like a coiled spring.
He thinks he's so smart. I'd love to see someone finally knock him down a peg.
He looked at me when I dropped my pen and I literally apologized for the noise. I don't even know why.
Why does he look like he's waiting for an apology?
He’s not 'acting' like he owns it. He actually did win the department fellowship. is the real deal.
Oh, that's definitely the guy who always curves the exams. Everyone hates him until they need to pass.
