Why does the 'iron wall' of the track team spend his late nights like this?

Does anyone else see this guy at the basement showers in the athletic building past midnight? He’s usually the golden boy, six-foot-two, fastest runner on the team, stone-cold to everyone. But tonight I saw him scrubbing the floor near the lockers, just staring at a discarded hoodie like it was some kind of holy relic. He looked... honestly, kind of wrecked. Not physically, but like he was waiting for someone to walk in and tell him to get up. Does he have a secret roommate or something, or is this just how the top runners decompress now?

Maybe you should just ask the guy himself .

I live in that building. I’ve heard him asking for permission to do basic things through the walls. It’s like he has no control over his own life.

Tate isn't 'submissive', he's just focused. He probably just wants to be left alone.

Wait, I recognize that hoodie. I’ve seen him wearing something similar around Building 3, but he never lets anyone touch his stuff.

Reply to DormLifeAnon: Wait, is it the senior's hoodie?

I swear he has a look in his eyes like he’s waiting for a command. Does he even know how to make a decision for himself?

Coach Hayes would lose his mind if he saw his star runner acting like this.

He looks way too submissive for a guy who is supposed to be the 'iron wall'. This is so weird.

That's Tate Garrick. The dude is literally the most disciplined person I've ever met in my life. He doesn't even talk to anyone.
