Does the neighborhood sweetheart actually have a double life?
I was grabbing a late lunch at the bistro near Oakridge Manor. Saw the neighborhood's 'perfect' homemaker, Penny, sitting in the corner booth. She wasn't alone. She was with that guy from her husband's office, the manager everyone says is 'predatory.' They weren't talking work. She was leaning in way too close, laughing at everything he said while playing with her hair. When the check came, she slipped a folded note into his hand and gave him this look... I’ve never seen a 'devoted wife' look at another man like that. Then she just stood up, smoothed her dress, and walked out like nothing happened. What is actually going on here?
She’s the sweetest lady in the building though? She brings cookies to everyone. Maybe it was just a business lunch?
Reply to OakridgeNeighbor: Business lunch? With that look in her eyes?
Wait, is that ? I see her at the park with her husband every weekend. They look like the happiest couple in the city.
Reply to SuburbanWatcher99: Happiest couple on the outside, maybe. You haven't seen her on the balcony at night.
I think I saw her car parked by the station later too. Why wouldn't she be at home?
Everything about this is wrong. Why does she act so innocent?
That look is pure trouble. I feel bad for the husband.
Did anyone see the note? What could she possibly be writing to her husband's boss?
If this is who I think it is, she’s been playing games in this neighborhood for a long time.
I work in that office. Everyone knows the manager is bad news, but he’s obsessed with his 'star employee's' home life. Now we see why.
