Brooklyn dive bar regular caught mid-meltdown and it was… weirdly intense.

Saw this guy at the dive bar tonight. He was playing a bass set, then some college kid spilled a drink on his gear. Everyone expected him to snap, but he just went dead quiet, wiped the amp off with his own shirt, and didn't even yell. He just looked at the kid like they weren't even there. Then he walked out into the rain and didn't come back to finish the set. He left his jacket on the chair and looked like he was vibrating with anger, but he wouldn't say a word. Does he always play like his life depends on it, or was tonight just extra?

Wait, did he leave his leather jacket? That thing looked vintage. He's definitely not coming back for it.

Reply to BarFly88: He didn't look back once. Just walked out.

That's . He's been playing at that bar for months. Honestly, he's a nightmare if you interrupt his sound check.

Reply to BrooklynBeat: Nightmare? He's the only reason I go to that hole.

Maybe he's just tired. Working those shifts and playing gigs will break anyone.

Classic moody musician trope. Why do we keep giving these guys airtime?

I saw him at a diner once. He just sat there in the corner staring at his coffee for an hour. Alone.

He's a prick, but he's talented. Ask him about his pedal board and watch him roll his eyes.

He goes to my school. Nobody knows a thing about him. Like, where does he even go at 3 AM?

He's always acting like he's ten seconds away from throwing a punch. It's performative as hell, but man, he can actually play.
