Manhattan elegance in a granite cave?

Saw this woman near the northern ridge of the island today. She was wearing what looked like a shredded designer silk dress, trying to clean it in a freshwater stream with some kind of palm leaf filter. The way she keeps clutching her arms and biting her lip, she looks like she’s about to cry or faint, but she won’t stop scrubbing that fabric. She looked absolutely terrified when she heard me move, like she was protecting a secret. Does anyone know if she was on that missing flight, or is there some kind of survival retreat happening that we don't know about?

I saw someone else with her a few miles back. Looked like a guy, younger, carrying supplies. They seemed way too close for strangers.

Reply to BeachComber_Pete: Are they captives? Or a couple?

Wait, that looks exactly like the fine arts consultant who disappeared months ago. Are you sure that’s her?

Reply to IslandWatcher99: It’s definitely her. The beauty mark under the eye gives it away.

I live near the coast and the tides there are brutal. If she's still alive, someone is helping her.

Maybe she isn't even trying to be found? Why would she be washing clothes instead of building a signal fire?

Nobody survives a crash on that island without some serious grit. Don't let the 'damsel in distress' vibe fool you.

The silk dress is ruined, but she’s still got that graceful posture. It’s haunting.

We’ve been trying to reach out to her relatives, but no one is talking. Check her profile here for more context on what might have happened to her.

That woman is way too out of her element to be surviving out there. She was famous for never even walking on grass in heels.
