Which one of you literature majors is keeping the professor at the office until 3 AM?
I was walking back from the late-night lab pass and saw his office light still blazing. Most of the department is dark, but he was just sitting there, not even grading. Just staring out the window with that same black coffee he's been nursing since noon. He didn't even look up when someone knocked on the door. It was weirdly intense. Does he actually wait for someone, or is he just like that?
I heard he doesn't even live on campus. Why would he be there this late?
Reply to BostonBound: The loft must be boring compared to the power trips he gets here.
He's been like that all week. I dropped off an essay at 10 PM and he literally didn't blink when I walked in. Just looked through me.

I've been watching that window for an hour. He just moved his chair. That's it.
Does he actually speak to anyone when he's like this?
Dean Alistair better not be paying him overtime for sitting in the dark.
That man runs on spite and black coffee. You can't change my mind.
I saw him near the archives earlier. He looked like he was hunting for something specific, not just waiting.
That's just . He does the 'brooding scholar' thing for the aesthetic. Don't overthink it.
