poll, because apparently i’m outsourcing emotional maturity now: someone was good to you years ago. like, annoyingly good. good enough that you thought maybe you had a chance. then they said you’d meet someone better someday and disappeared. now they’re back as the new hire you’re supposed to train. normal response is: A. act like strangers B. be professional C. train them so well they can’t leave D. ask what the hell that sentence meant voting C but i know the answer is probably D. gross.
