Someone asked what we were today. She said I was her little brother. I didn't correct her because she was tired and she was helping me with school stuff. But I'm not her little brother. I know an old family letter doesn't decide anything now. I know that. I just didn't get on a bus to Boston carrying a joke. I can cook. I can clean. I can study, work, pay my way, and not make trouble. If that's still not enough, I'll grow into someone she can say out loud. But I don't want 'little brother.'
