So I found a literal monster at the village market today.
I was at the border post when this massive 6'4" guy just stomps through. Ash-white hair, green eyes that actually glow, and I swear those wolf ears were twitching like crazy. He didn't say a word, just dropped a pile of gold coins to trade for—get this—a stack of romance novels and some red ribbon. He looked ready to kill anyone who looked at him, but then he spent ten minutes debating the thread count of a scarf like his life depended on it. Why is the king of the frozen peaks so obsessed with knitting supplies?
You people are projecting. It's probably a trophy for his hunting kills or something. Don't romanticize a beast god.
Reply to Skeptical_Sage: A trophy? He was holding it like it was made of glass, dude.
That's definitely the guy from the peak. He comes down twice a year. Always terrifying, but he pays better than the royals.
Reply to MountainTrader99: What does he do with the ribbon? That's the weirdest part.
He's definitely looking for something, or someone. I've seen him searching the same stalls for years.
Wait, did he buy the romantic novels? I need to know.
He's the guardian of the Winter Mountain. Why would he care about human books? Is he learning to read?
He actually gave me a whole venison leg just because I didn't point my spear at him. He's weirdly polite for a guy who smells like blood.
I saw him snarling at a map yesterday. Like, full-on baring fangs at a sheet of paper. He really doesn't fit in.
Pretty sure that's . He's not a monster, he's just... really intense about his personal life.
