Does anyone know why this guy leaves fresh flowers at the cliffside every Tuesday?
Saw this dude again at the jagged rocks near the south point. He doesn't look like he's hiking or doing tourist stuff. He just walks right up to the edge, leaves a bouquet of bright orange lilies on the wet stone, and stares at the ocean for like an hour. He didn't even flinch when the waves crashed over his boots. He has this massive vintage camera around his neck but he didn't take a single shot. Just stood there in his oversized black jacket looking like he was waiting for something to wash back up. It’s haunting, honestly. Who is he?
Maybe he just likes flowers? Don't make it weird.
Reply to no_filter_jen: Orange lilies on a dangerous cliff? That's definitely not just for decor.
I've seen him there before. He never talks to anyone. He just stays until the sun starts to dip.
Reply to ocean_watcher_99: Yeah, he’s been doing it for months. Rain or shine. It’s creepy but kinda sad?
Keep the discussion civil, please.
That spot is super dangerous. How is he so calm standing there?
I’ve tried asking him at his exhibitions, he just stares right through you. Won't say a word.
Does he work there? Or is he just mourning? I want to know what happened on those rocks.
If it is him, his work makes total sense now. It’s all so grey and empty. Now I get the vibe.
Wait, I recognize that camera strap. That’s the photographer who does those insane black-and-white seascapes in the gallery downtown. , is that you?
