Caught the superstar doing the one thing he says he'll never do at a fashion event.
So, we are at the private after-party. Usually, Jackson is the life of the room, greeting everyone and making the rounds. Tonight? I saw him physically swat a PR assistant's hand away when they tried to hand him a tablet to 'approve' some campaign photos. He literally shoved the files onto a side table like they were trash, walked over to a quiet corner, and spent the next hour just sitting there—no phone, no manager, just staring at a wall with his eyes closed. He looked so exhausted it was actually kind of jarring to watch. He didn't even look at the cameras pointed his way. What gives?
Does he always act like that when he's tired? Or is he just being dramatic for the brand?
Reply to CasualScroll: Not drama. He hates that stuff.
I think I saw him waiting for someone to just sit with him. Like he wasn't waiting for a drink or a meeting, he was waiting for a human anchor.
Reply to DeepStalker: Exactly. He's not rude, he's just desperate for real connection.
I work in PR and let me tell you, if he threw the files, he was done for the night. No one pushes him once he's in that mode.
Reply to IndustryWatchdog: He's been working non-stop, give the man a break.
I wonder if he ever actually gets to turn his phone off like he says he wants to?
He looked like he was about to break if anyone talked to him for one more second.
I'd give anything to know what he was thinking about in that corner.
You guys are reading too much into a tired guy wanting a nap. is just human, okay?
That is honestly so classic for him when he hits his limit. He just shuts down.
