Why is the city's most dangerous man sitting in a diner with his hands tied?

So I’m at that 24-hour spot on 5th, and this guy in an insanely expensive black suit walks in—or is walked in—by some terrified-looking kid. I thought it was a movie set, but then I realized who he was. Thorne. The guy who runs the whole underground. He didn't look mad, he looked... bored? He just sat there in the booth with his hands loosely bound, sipping black coffee like it was a business meeting. The kid who brought him was shaking so hard they dropped their glass, but he didn't even blink. He just watched them with that half-smile. I swear he could’ve snapped the zip-ties in a second. Why stay? What could they possibly want from him?

Anyone trying to play games with is already dead. You don't kidnap him, he lets you kidnap him to see how far you'll go before you lose your mind.

Reply to underground_intel: But why stay? Is he that bored?

Wait, that's actually him? The Lucetti king? No way he got snagged by some random amateur.

Reply to chicago_night_owl: Look at his ring. It's the lion crest. That's definitely him.

Look at his eyes in the photo. He isn't scared. He's genuinely amused. That's terrifying.

I heard he didn't even call his guards. He just let the kid try to make a demand. Poor thing didn't even know how to ask for money.

Probably a publicity stunt. No way a king is this careless.

Does he ever take the suit off? I bet he sleeps in it.

The audacity to kidnap a man who kills for fun... absolutely insane.

I was working the shift. The kid who brought him was crying. Thorne just asked for the check after five minutes. He wasn't even threatened, he was patronizing them.
