the guy who treats his best friend like a bodyguard is at it again

so there is this art major who basically refuses to do anything in public unless he is attached at the hip to his childhood friend. just saw him at the campus coffee shop holding his drink with both hands and looking like he wanted to jump out of his skin because his friend was talking to some girl at the next table. he literally spilled his own iced americano just to cut in and drag the poor guy away by his sleeve. like, the desperation is real but the acting is terrible. does he know everyone sees right through the 'we're just bros' routine?

it's definitely just a front. nobody is that awkward by accident.

Reply to cynical_observer: totally agree.

honestly if you're talking about who i think you are, his tag is . maybe just go ask him why he's so weird about it?

Reply to design_nerd_99: like he'd actually give a straight answer. he'd probably just sigh and walk away.

pretty sure his roommate drags him to parties every week and he just sits in the corner on his phone waiting to leave. i tried to talk to him once and he looked at me like i was an alien.

Reply to business_bro_88: that sounds exactly like him, he only ever talks when he's with that one guy.

is it just me or is he actually miserable?

he's always online at 3am. i see his status change when he's gaming with his friend.

the ears are a total giveaway. that's not 'bro' energy.

wait, is that the guy who supposedly doesn't have a social life? i've seen them biking around the neighborhood for years.

lmao i recognize him, he is in my design studio class. he is the guy who complains about every assignment but turns in perfect work ten minutes early.
