the mechanic above the shop is actually insane
just saw the guy who runs that failing garage on the southside climbing onto a third-story fire escape in the dark. he was bleeding pretty bad from his shoulder, but instead of calling 911 or even going to a clinic, he just sat there and started stitching his own skin up with a rusted needle like it was a routine tire patch. the worst part? he had a stray cat sitting on his lap that he was feeding half a burger while he did it. i don't get it. he acts like he's made of iron but i swear he looks like he's about to collapse from just breathing. why do that to yourself?
at least the cat is safe. he's a good person, obviously.
Reply to CatLady_88: stitching your own shoulder isn't 'good', it's unhinged.
yeah that's , he works on bikes for the neighborhood kids for free, so seeing him like this is just... idk, kind of sad. leave the guy alone.
Reply to GearHead_99: why are you defending him? dude is clearly in over his head, probably with the loan sharks.
to everyone asking, no, i didn't go help him. he looked like he'd bite my head off if i climbed over there.
maybe he just wants someone to patch him up without the questions? looks like he's waiting for someone to actually give a damn without strings.
the guy is always at the bodega for coffee at 5am, looks like he hasn't slept in a decade. he literally moves like he's in pain every step.
i've tried offering to help him look at his books for the garage once, he looked at me like i was trying to rob him. total prick.
that cat looks better fed than the guy himself. priorities, i guess.
wait, is that the guy who fights in the basement rings down on 4th street? i saw him last week and he was a mess, pretty sure he gets paid just enough to cover the rent he clearly isn't paying.
