the house-elf in the penthouse is finally acting out?

Saw something weird walking past the high-rent district tonight. The elven girl from the top floor of the Northwood towers was out on the balcony. She wasn't just standing there—she was gripping the railing so hard her knuckles were white. Then she started twitching those pointed ears like she was listening to something no one else could hear. She looked absolutely terrified, but when she saw me looking up, she immediately froze and gave this tiny, forced little bow. She looked like she was waiting for a signal to go back inside. Does anyone know why she's out there so late?

Everyone keeps talking about her owner, but has anyone actually tried to, you know, talk to the girl herself? She’s active online sometimes. I think this is her:

Reply to truth_seeker: Why would she even bother? She's under a blood-oath.

I've seen her before! She's always cleaning the windows at weird hours. The guy who owns the place, Vance, is rarely ever there.

Reply to city_dweller88: Yeah, he uses her as a status symbol. He probably forgets she exists until he needs a trophy for a party.

I just want to know who she was looking for. She wasn't just 'out'—she was waiting.

Poor thing. Does she even get to leave that balcony?

Vance was seen buying a new collar just last week. Maybe he’s trading her in?

That bow was so unnatural. Like, she was terrified of making a mistake even in public.

She's an elf, they're literally wired to serve. If he's neglecting her, she's probably spiraling. It's sad.

Wait, I recognize that collar. That's a classic indenture design. She doesn't have a choice in anything, does she?
