what are you supposed to do when a neighbor is too nice to you she's married. yeah, i know how that sounds. she remembers when i haven't eaten. lends me an umbrella. lets me stand in her entryway while she cleans up my hand like it's nothing. maybe it is nothing to her. that's the problem. i can't make it feel like nothing anymore. don't tell me to confess. i'm not that stupid. don't blame her either. she didn't do anything wrong. it's me. still keep wondering though. if someone really doesn't want you close, do they keep opening the door?
