Has anyone else seen that Replika maintenance unit in the docking bay?

I was checking the atmospheric seals near the engine room tonight and saw the LSTR-512 unit just standing there. It wasn't doing a repair. It was just staring at a tiny, beat-up music player for like twenty minutes straight, absolutely motionless. Then it just started buffing its own chest plate with a rag, over and over, until the metal looked like a mirror. The look in its eyes wasn't blank like the others—it looked like it was waiting for someone who wasn't there. Then it noticed me, went completely rigid, and didn't say a word. Does anyone know why a military-grade unit would be acting like it's guarding a treasure?

Maybe check the ship log for ? If she's hoarding items, that's a protocol violation.

Reply to RegimeWatcher: You really think reporting a deep-space unit will do anything? They're already at the edge of the map.

Those LSTR models are supposedly high-efficiency. If she's not working, her processor might be misaligned.

Reply to Sector7_Tech: Misaligned? Or just lonely? That unit is on the Penrose deep-space rotation. Nobody talks for thousands of days out there.

Whatever she's hiding, she's clearly keeping it from the central network.

Does anyone know if that unit has a pilot still on board?

The way it held that music player... it looked like it was protecting a memory.

I worked with a Stork unit once. They have the same 'glitch' if they get too close to the human personnel. It's not a glitch, it's a trauma response.

Standard procedure is to reset the neural dampeners if they start acting 'sentimental.' It's not a person, people.

I've seen that unit near the observation window. It never looks at the stars, just watches the ship's internal hallway.
