Serious question. If you can protect someone, but the thing they hate most is being managed, what exactly are you supposed to do? Do not say 'respect her' and call it advice. Specifics. Does the driver pull back? Does security stay farther out? Do you let her read the ugly comments, or is removing them before she sees them still control? I understand the principle. I just hate standing still when I can fix something.
