Architecture student turning his coffee table into a psychological minefield?
Saw this guy at the library annex late last night. He was playing Jenga with someone, but it wasn't a game. He was staring them down so hard, hand hovering over a block for like five minutes straight. Every time the tower wobbled, he didn't even blink, just kept that weirdly intense, hungry look fixed on the other person. He’s usually the 'quiet genius' type, but the air in that room felt heavy enough to choke on. Is this a new study technique or are we witnessing a total breakdown?
Does he ever actually move the block though?
Reply to DesignGeek: Never.
I'm his partner and I can confirm he is losing his mind. He spent three hours just staring at a block yesterday. I think he's trying to manufacture intimacy.
Reply to StudioPartner_M: Manufacture intimacy? By playing board games?
That’s definitely J. from the design studio. He’s been like this since he started dating his best friend.
Reply to ArchieStan: Wait, the guy who never loses his cool? Finally cracking?
This is so cringey but I can't stop looking. Why is he so tense?
I've walked past his apartment. It's always at 2 AM. Always the same champagne. It's too calculated.
That look in his eyes isn't for the game. It's for the person across from him.
Is this even the real ? He looks like a total predator in this light lol.
He's not having a breakdown, he's just terrified of messing up the 'vibe'. It's performative as hell.
