anonymous question because apparently I have no survival instincts. If you crossed a line with your direct manager after an overnight office disaster, both adults, both willing, but the next day you started avoiding them because you thought distance was the responsible thing... and then they asked why you were deciding for them... is keeping distance actually responsible, or is it just running away with better branding?
