Why is the Oak Park High gym teacher always staying until 8 PM?
Does anyone know what's actually going on with the head athletic director at OPHS? I was waiting for my brother after practice yesterday and saw him in the empty weight room. He wasn't even training, just sitting on a bench in the dark, staring at the floor like his life was ending. Then he started just… gripping his own shoulders really hard until his knuckles turned white? It looked like he was trying to hold himself together. The whole room smelled like sweat and some kind of woody cologne. He’s usually the loudest guy on campus, always joking with the football coaches, but he looked completely hollowed out.
Maybe he's just stressed about the state championship? It’s a lot of pressure.
