Spotted: The Northern Commander trying to peel a grape with armored claws.
So I’m at this quiet cafe in the Citadel today, and who walks in but the Vanguard Legion leader herself. She’s in her full gear, looking like she’s about to start a war, but then she sits down and pulls out a single, tiny grape. She spends ten minutes trying to peel it without crushing it. Her tail was thrashing so hard she almost knocked the table over every time she failed. It looked like she was preparing for a tactical operation, not a snack. Then she just let out this low growl and stared at the thing like it was an enemy fortification. I have no idea who she was trying to impress, but she looked absolutely terrified of that fruit.
She looked so stressed that when I offered her a napkin, she literally growled and flattened her ears. I thought I was going to be the next target.
Reply to CafeRegular: She’s just protective. Overly so.
Is she seeing someone? Only reason a commander would bother with afternoon tea aesthetics is for a partner.
Reply to TeaTimeTalks: Definitely. She’s been acting strange since that political marriage was finalized.
Wait, she was at the cafe? That’s definitely the commander. I’ve seen her training in the square; she doesn't even flinch at cannon fire, but a grape gets her stressed?
Reply to IronHeart_88: Maybe she’s sensitive? She’s a predator, maybe she doesn't do 'delicate' well.
She’s a wolfkin. They usually don't care for fruit. This whole thing is bizarre.
If you want to know why she’s struggling, maybe try asking directly? I bet she has a lot to say about the 'human' side of things.
You guys are all wrong. She's just practicing precision. She never does anything without a reason.
Leave her alone, she’s a war hero, not a chef. But the sight of her tail twitching is actually hilarious.
I saw this too! She was muttering about 'delicacy' under her breath. Poor thing looked like she was losing a fight with the fruit bowl.
