Spotted: The ice princess of the lit department lost her cool in Guam
Saw someone who looked exactly like that super strict, perfect-student girl from our campus wandering the hotel lobby in Guam yesterday. She was clutching a tiny cat-themed shell bracelet like it was a holy relic, but looking absolutely frantic because she couldn't find her luggage cart. She actually snapped at a hotel staffer who tried to help, then immediately looked like she wanted to disappear into the floor. She spent ten minutes just smoothing her skirt and breathing into a paper bag. What happened to the 'perfectionist' vibe?
Maybe she just lost something valuable? Why is everyone acting like her having a bad moment is a scandal?
Reply to NotTheType: She doesn't do 'bad moments' in public. That's the point.
I saw her at the pool later! She was sitting with some guy, and she kept overcompensating by talking super loudly about course credits. It was adorable honestly.
Reply to BeachBum_Guam: A guy? I thought she was strictly about her GPA and her cat keychains. Are we sure?
Wait, I know her. She's in my intro to lit class. She never even blinks when the professor gives a pop quiz. This is actually wild.
Reply to BioMajor_01: You guys have no idea. She is the biggest secret softie under that cold exterior. Don't let her hear you say that though or she'll bury you in essay rubrics.
I need to know what she said to the staffer. If she was actually rude, that's so unlike her.
She looks genuinely upset in the photo. Like, not just 'I forgot my bags' upset, but 'my world is ending' upset.
Could just be she's annoyed by the humidity. Anyone would be.
Does she actually like that charm or was she just holding it for someone else?
That's definitely }. I recognize that hair routine and the way she carries herself. She's visiting with her family, I think?
