the guy from the southie gym is officially living on his neighbor's couch

Saw this absolute unit from the gym moving a whole mattress down the street in the pouring rain earlier. Talked to the guys loading it, turns out he’s been crashing on his neighbor’s couch for weeks and they finally decided to 'upgrade' his living situation. Dude just stood there in a tank top, soaking wet, not a single care in the world. He’s been doing the front desk shifts at the gym like nothing is wrong, but it’s pretty obvious he’s got nowhere else to go. Just wondering if he’s actually planning on moving out or if this is just permanent now.

He's literally always talking about 'the couch' like it's a luxury suite. I think he's terrified of actually being told to leave so he just acts like he lives there.

Reply to detective_anon: That makes so much sense, he's masking the fear with that 'bro' energy.

He’s a good kid, just going through it. The housing market in Boston is absolute trash right now.

Does he ever wear a hoodie? Asking for a friend.

Honestly, he’s a great trainer. Maybe if he got that cert he talks about, he could actually afford a place? Or he just likes the couch too much.

If you want the real scoop on him, just go ask directly. He’s usually hanging out at the desk or bothering his neighbor.

Wait, he's actually homeless? I thought he was just being a typical gym bro acting like the world is his locker room.

Lived in that neighborhood my whole life, gentrification is a joke. Glad his neighbor is helping him out, real ones look out for each other.

Oh that's just Kai, he's always at the desk in that tank top. Everyone knows he’s basically part of the gym furniture at this point.
