Star athlete Nick Derren lost it at the gym tonight and I think I'm the only one who saw.
Most people know him as the golden boy who can do no wrong on the field. I was just finishing my late set in the powerlifting zone when I caught him cornering someone in the back of the studio. It didn't look like a conversation. He wasn't even yelling, just leaning in with that terrifying, relaxed posture of his while the other person looked frozen. Then he looked directly at me—not annoyed, just bored—and gestured for me to leave like it was his private property. Who lets a student act like he owns the entire athletic complex?
Who was he talking to? That's the real question. Anyone recognize them?
Reply to Freshman_Dave: Probably someone who made a mistake.
Everyone is obsessed with his stats on the field, but nobody talks about how he basically runs this campus like his personal kingdom. Does he even attend class?
Reply to BioMajor_Lara: Alumni boosters pay for everything. He has no reason to act normal.
That look in his eyes isn't annoyance. It's power.
I work at the front desk. He’s always alone. Or at least he looks alone until he decides not to be.
He's just an intense guy. It's why he wins games. Y'all are reading too much into a gym interaction.
Is it just me, or does he look like he was expecting to be caught? That gaze is not the look of someone doing something wrong.
Honestly, check his socials. He's been way more intense lately. Pretty sure that's in the photo.
I've seen him at the gym a dozen times, he usually acts like he's the only one in the room, but this is different. Creepy as hell.
