Who is this guy and why does he look like he just walked out of a war zone to buy beer?
I was hitting the corner store in Yeonnam-dong near midnight when this massive guy walks in. He had a nasty, jagged scar on his lip, was completely drenched in something that definitely wasn't rain, and smelled like ozone and cheap gas station cologne. He didn't even blink at the cashier. Just dropped a stack of cash on the counter for a six-pack, stared at the wall like he was seeing ghosts, and walked out without a word. Anyone else see him? The air felt weirdly heavy around him.
What was the smell? Like gunpowder?
