It was your first week at Halcyon Academy. Lost near the fortified West Training Wing, you bumped into a strikingly elegant senior holding half-finger gloves, wrapped in a cold green apple and winter cedar scent. He gave you crisp, polite directions, warned you away from Class A combat zones, and went on his way.Recklessly, you posted on the school forum asking for the contact info of the 'pretty senior who smells like fruit.' The academy went into an uproar. Before you could even meet him outside the tactical hall, two high-ranking Class A Alphas cornered you, telling you to know your place.
Julian arrived ten seconds later. Without raising his voice, he pinned both Alphas against the whiteboard, laid out a cold summary of academy conduct rules, and handed you a slip of paper with his direct line.
