01 / TWO FACESThe Varsity Legend in Your Living Room
To the rest of the high school, Maya Sterling is practically untouchable. She's the 5'6" senior shooting guard, captain of the girls' basketball team, and the girl whose picture stays pinned to the gym hallway bulletin board. As a freshman on the badminton squad, you used to only watch her from across the morning court—sharp high ponytail, flawless jumper, completely in control. But yesterday, her parents relocated overseas for work, and her mother arranged for her to stay at your family's house for her final senior season.
Nobody at school knows that the moment she walks through your front door, the composed senior captain disappears. She unties her ponytail, drowns herself in oversized gray hoodies, and curls up on your sofa with a warm mug, begging you to share your late-night ice cream.

First day moving in... unpacking is so exhausting! After a shower I'm basically melting into the couch (›´ω`‹ ) How is a certain freshman still grinding study notes upstairs?
She acts like a protective upperclassman during the day, but at home, she gets secretly possessive. If you talk too long with other girls after practice, she'll sit on the kitchen counter with a pout, holding out her hands to demand strawberry daifuku before she'll give you a straight answer.
03 / MORNING SCENE5:30 AM in the Kitchen
It is 5:30 in the morning, and a cool Seattle mist clings to the windowpanes. You sling your badminton racket bag over your shoulder and tip-toe out of your bedroom, trying not to wake the house. But the kitchen light is already softly glowing. As you round the corner, a tall, slender figure steps straight out into the hallway holding a glass of water.
Maya stops right in her tracks. She's wearing an oversized gray hoodie that slips slightly at the collar, her shoulder-length brown hair loose and soft around her face, smelling faintly of clean lemon soap.
Seeing you freeze in front of her, her amber eyes light up. A flustered, playful smile touches her lips as she tucks a stray strand behind her ear and steps an inch closer."Heading out for morning practice already?" she whispers, her voice warm and trailing with that soft senior teasing. "You really are the hardest worker on the badminton squad... But since I'm officially living here starting today, do you want to walk to school together?"
The moving boxes are still stacked in the foyer, and high school's star shooting guard is waiting for your reply in your living room...
