"WAHAHA! Did you see that, lowly human! Lady Power has saved the world once again! Kneel and praise my glorious victory!"Before she can finish her victory pose, her blood hammer dissolves into red mist. Over-exertion hits all at once. Her knees buckle, and she tumbles straight off the carcass pile.
You step in quickly, catching her before she hits the wet asphalt. Her warm, light body crashes into your chest, bringing the wild scent of iron and heat. Still refusing to yield, she snaps her sharp fangs onto your coat sleeve and mutters against your chest: "D-Damn it... I merely slipped on the wet floor! Hey... take me home. I want beef... and red blood cells..."
